[Berlin] You gave me a tattoo but I need a touch up, what can I do?I'm pleased to inform you that any necessary touch-ups on tattoos created by me are provided free of charge within a twelve-month period from the time of your tattoo. While tipping is always appreciated, please know that it is entirely optional and not expected. When it comes to reserving a spot for touch-ups, you won't be required to provide a deposit. However, please be mindful of the appointment and make every effort to attend. If you fail to show up without a valid health-related reason and a minimum of 24-hour notice, the opportunity for a touch-up will be canceled.
-
[Berlin] It's been more than 12 months and I need a touch up, what can I do?My foremost priority is your happiness and the pride you take in wearing your tattoo. My 12-month policy is in place to ensure your active involvement in the tattoo process. Nevertheless, if it has been more than 12 months but less than 2 years, we can come to an agreement, and I'll be more than happy to provide you with a touch-up.

[Guest Spot] You gave me a tattoo while you were in my city, what if I need a touch up?If I've tattooed you during a guest spot and you need a touch-up, first and foremost, I'd like to apologize if it was related to my technique. In your case, there's no time limit for getting a touch-up, and due to the logistical challenges, we'll simply have to wait until we're in the same location.

[Berlin] What if I need to reschedule?I understand that sometimes unexpected circumstances may require rescheduling your appointment, and I'm happy to accommodate such requests. However, I kindly ask that you please consider the following conditions: Rescheduling is allowed, but limited to a single instance. In the event that you are feeling unwell or unable to attend the appointment, I kindly request that you notify me at least 24 hours in advance. Ideally 48 hours. This allows me to adjust my schedule accordingly. It's important to note that when you book an appointment with me, I reserve a dedicated time slot exclusively for you. If changes are made without sufficient notice, it becomes challenging for me to fill that time with another client, resulting in a loss of income. Please understand that this is my profession, and it greatly impacts my livelihood. Furthermore, I would like to emphasize that failure to adhere to these rescheduling conditions may result in the lost of your deposit. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in ensuring a positive experience for both parties involved. To ensure efficient scheduling, please be aware that any rescheduling requests must be made and finalized within the initial three-month reservation period. Once the three-month period has elapsed, the reservation will be considered canceled. This policy helps maintain a fair and organized booking system. I greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding these rescheduling guidelines. It helps me maintain a smooth workflow and ensures that both you and my other clients receive the best possible service.

[Guest Spot] What if I need to reschedule? If I'm doing a Guest Spot outside of Berlin, it's a special situation in which I'm traveling to your city for a limited period, making it challenging to reschedule our appointment for another time in your city. If you notify me with at least 72 hours' notice, I'll be able to refund your deposit. However, if you fail to inform me on time, I won't be able to refund the deposit due to the difficulty of finding someone to take your place at the last minute. On the other hand, if you can't notify me with sufficient advance notice, you can schedule an appointment with me in Berlin within the next 3 months.

How do I get ready for the appointment? On the day of the session, come well-fed and rested, I recommend you not sunbathe, or drink alcohol, and avoid the consumption of narcotics the day before the session and after the tattoo. There will be time to find the perfect size and placement! Please take an active part in it so you are 100% happy with it, I rely on what you are telling me so please speak out what your are thinking. If you want to bring someone for emotional support, I kindly ask you to let me know beforehand due the limited space we have at our studio. In order to make you feel safe and comfortable, let me know what your needs are. I want to make you feel fully in charge of the session. I try to explain everything I do so you understand what is going on, if you have any questions please let me know without hesitation. Consent is the key word. I won't do anything you don't want me to do during the session. I do not want to assume anything so I will ask a lot of questions or check if you are feeling ok. If you rather have a silent session or wear headphones, I totally understand, just let me know :) Bring comfortable clothes adequate for the placement. E.g. shorts for leg tattoos, tank tops for stomach tattoo, etc. preferably in black so it doesn't matter if it get stained. This last is not a must.

How do I know my tattoo is healed? The skin of the tattooed area should have the same texture as the rest of the skin.
-
Can you tattoo over scars or stretch marks?Short answer, sometimes. Scars must be at least 2 years old. Both skins are more sensitive and thinner than other body parts and for that I suggest a consultation first.
-
What is the area that hurts the most to get a tattoo? When it comes to the level of pain experienced during a tattoo session, it can vary greatly from person to person. Each individual has a unique pain tolerance and sensitivity. However, based on general feedback and experiences shared by both clients and tattoo artists, certain body parts are commonly associated with higher levels of discomfort. These areas can include the ribs, palms, back leg, feet, and inner arms.

Tattoos and pregnancy/breastfeeding?(1) Pregnancy is a delicate time for the body: the immune system is more depressed, therefore the body will not respond in the same way to possible infections. In addition to finding difficulties in treating infections that are compatible with pregnancy. Add to that the fact that due to the immense amount of changes and hormones that are in the body that will make the experience much more painful and unpleasant. For these reasons, it is not recommended to tattoo pregnant people. (2) There are not enough studies to ensure negative effects or risk on getting tattoos during breastfeeding. There are contradictory opinions on the matter. In my experience tattooing people who are breastfeeding, there have been no problems of any kind. Ultimately it should be your decision. I suggest you to ask your doctor or midwife to have a more informed decision.
