After Care
There are many ways on how to take care of a tattoo, this is my favorite way!

Second skin
Leave the film on for max. 3 days. To remove the second skin, do it gently and slowly. Under warm water, pull it off from one down corner upwards. If it peels of before 3 days, remove it completely.

Gently Cleanse
After removing the bandage, gently cleanse the tattooed area with mild, fragrance-free, antibacterial soap and warm water. Use your clean hands, not a cloth or scrubbing tool, to avoid irritation. Gently pat the tattooed area dry with a clean, soft paper towel. Do not rub or use a regular towel.

Keep an eye on it
- Protect your tattoo from direct sunlight and tanning beds during the healing process.
- Refrain from swimming in pools, hot tubs, or soaking in baths until your tattoo is fully healed to prevent infection and fading.
- It's natural for your tattoo to itch and peel during the healing process, but do not scratch or pick at it. This can damage the tattoo and increase the risk of infection.

Plastic Foil
Remove it after 4 hours and replace it with a new one for bedtime. Tattoo ink can stain your clothes or sheets and is very difficult to remove.

Keep it Moisturized
After the initial healing stage, continue to wash it 2x day and keep your tattoo moisturized with a fragrance-free, non-comedogenic lotion to prevent excessive drying and cracking. I recommend coconut or shea butter. If you use other tattoo products, go ahead! But these are my two favorite ones.

Healing
Remember that healing times can vary from person to person, but it generally takes around 2-4 weeks for a tattoo to fully heal. During this time, follow the aftercare instructions provided to ensure the best results and minimize the risk of complications. If you have any concerns or notice signs of infection, contact me or a healthcare professional for guidance.
